What is a client closet?

  • What kind of services do you offer?
    I specialize in couples, weddings, and families, but I have a hard time saying no to an exciting creative opportunity. If you have any kind of photography need, please reach out - I am happy to help refer you to someone who will be able to provide you with what you're looking for if I don't think my skills are a good fit. In the past I have provided services for extended families, small business owners, corporate events, and more.
  • How much do your services cost?
    Prices for my services are available on each of the corresponding info pages (click here for wedding info, click here for portrait info) but the best way to get an accurate quote is to get in touch! Portrait sessions start at $465 and weddings start at $2,700.
  • What do I receive in exchange for my investment?
    I structure my portrait sessions and wedding packages by considering what I would want as a client. Your investment covers the shooting cost as well as editing (see below for details). I deliver any images that I think you might love (at least 50 per hour), edited mostly in colour with a few in black and white, delivered in high resolution through a digital gallery that can be easily downloaded and shared. Prints, albums, and artwork are available at an additional cost.
  • How long will it take to recieve my photos?
    If anyone understands the agony of waiting for photos it's me - upon returning home from a session, I rarely skip a beat before opening up my computer and looking through the files from the day. It's better than Christmas! This said, many hours are spent perfecting each session before I am able to deliver a gallery. My turnaround time is 3 weeks for 1-hour portrait sessions and 6 weeks for weddings, but I try to make this wait survivable by providing a preview of 3-5 photos the day after a session.
  • What is a client closet?
    A client closet is a collection of dresses well-suited for photoshoots. This service is new and in the making for Isabelle B. Photography! I want all clients to feel wonderfully special during their session, and I understand how challenging choosing an outfit can be. If you choose, you may contact me with their size and choose 1 dress out of 3 options provided by me to wear during your session. I am currently building up inventory and am committed to purchasing a size if I don't already have it, so this service will be fully inclusive of all bodies. If you don't like one of the options available or want to do your own thing, I completely support that too!
  • What kind of editing do you provide?
    My mission is to make you feel beautiful and confident throughout the entirety of our working together! This starts with a proper briefing on what to expect and how to prepare for your session, and ends with a gallery of gorgeous images. I use colour correction and simple spot removal to enhance images, but do not alter bodies or offer retouching services at this time. I approach editing with the mindset that if something will still be there in 6 months (ex. a scar, freckle, birthmark, etc.) I don't touch it unless requested. If there's something specific that you are insecure about, please notify me before your session so that we can align expectations!
  • Do you travel for weddings or portrait sessions?
    Heck yes. I currently have rights to work in Canada and Australia, but would be happy to explore the process of working in another country as well if you have something in mind. I do charge a travel fee for sessions outside of Sydney, but try to keep it as fair and affordable as possible.   • I want to book your services. What's the next step?
    YAY! I am truly honoured by every inquiry - thank you for considering me! To book, please click the contact button below and write me an email with details you have about your vision - date, location, vibe, number of people, fun fact about yourself, anything! I will respond and together we fill in any blanks. Your booking will be made official with a signed contract and a paid 25% non-refundable retainer. I believe in a simple, straightforward booking process!
